As part of SCS’s commitment to being a different kind of housing operator, the Office Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations and rhythms of the Co:Here building. Salsbury promotes housing that is rooted in relationships rather than transactions, and community rather than mere tenancy. This role weaves together stewardship of the office and building, support for residents and connections to the community in alignment with SCS’s core values of Welcome, Solidarity, Belonging, Stewardship, and Grace.
The Office Administrator is foundational to ensuring a smooth and efficiently run office and is often the first point of contact for both tenants and outside parties. By reliably supporting the operations of the Co:here building, including communications, financial reporting, payroll and board support, the Office Administrator helps translate SCS’s vision into lived reality: creating a home where diversity is celebrated, sustainability is practiced and mutual connection and care transform how people live together.
Reporting: This position reports to the SCS Community Manager.
Work location: Office and worksite is the Co:Here building, 1723 Victoria Drive, Vancouver.
Work Hours: 8-10 hours over 3-5 days/week.
